Who we are

Objectives & Constitution

The Bathurst Football Referees Association (BFRA) is the body responsible for the recruitment, training, development, and appointment of football referees within the Bathurst and District Football region.

We operate under the auspices of Football NSW and in partnership with Bathurst District Football (BDF) to ensure all competitions are officiated to the highest possible standard.

Recruit and develop qualified football referees across all age groups
Provide ongoing education in the Laws of the Game
Appoint referees to all BDF competitions fairly and efficiently
Support referee welfare, mentoring and professional development
Maintain strong relationships with Football NSW, BDF, and clubs
Promote refereeing as an inclusive, rewarding career pathway

About the AGM

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is the principal governing meeting of the Bathurst Football Referees Association. It is held annually, typically in November/December.

All financial members of BFRA are entitled to attend and vote at the AGM. The AGM is the opportunity to:

  • Elect officers and committee members
  • Receive the Annual Report and Financial Statement
  • Review and amend the Constitution
  • Set subscription rates and levies
  • Consider motions on notice
  • Recognise outstanding service

Notice of the AGM will be sent to all financial members at least 14 days prior to the meeting date.
