Don't Forget....

Appointments Procedure -

To be appointed to these games you need to send Richard an email at appointments@bfra.net.au as soon as possible. You dont have to make yourself available all day, even helping out for just one game on the line would be appreciated to help share the workload.

Before you begin refereeing in 2013, you will need to fill out a BFRA Membership Form. If you are under 18years of age you will need to have these signed by your parent or guardian. The forms are available for download below so you can print them out at home and get them signed before you come to the ground. Copies of these forms are available in the Refs Room at Proctor Park.

Appointment Tips!

1. Make sure you get your times right before making yourself available to referee.

2. To be considered for weekend matches, make sure you email your availabilities before 5.00pm Wednesday to appointments@bfra.net.au. Late emailers can sometimes get games but this cannot be guaranteed.

3. For mid-week games email Richard at appointments@bfra.net.au at your earliest opportunity as Chris will usually (but not always) appoint on a "first come, first served" basis.

4. Check the BFRA website before you referee. Sometimes there are updates as late as Friday night so your games may change. It is necessary to check the board in the Referees Room at Proctor Park before you go out to referee as things can change right up to kick off.

5. Allow plenty of time to get to your game. Try to be at the ground 30 minutes before your game is due to kick off. Don't be one of these referees who are running into the Ref's Room late as the committe may have replaced you on your game.
